And we have educational forums. Tonight i want to welcome all of you, or anyone watching live on the lifestream or cspan book t tv. Despite the covariate regulations. So we are getting together for this wonderful event. More than 50 percent is good for legal and illegal. [applause] but now lets get right to it. Cnn msnbc fox news. [inaudible] [applause] [applause] he said this is a great primer on the populist movement. Our guide. And she. [inaudible] and then talk about global populism. I thought it was a party to fight for Small Business owners that 2015 to drive down wages of globalization man ohio and pennsylvania i was a something is fundamentally wrong. And then shouted from immigration. I am from a middleclass. Bluecollar community from one of the republican communities. If it wasnt for political. [laughter] but and in high school i was a big protester of the iraq war. That never made sense to me but i also saw the radical transformation but then working on the campaigns but a lot of people read about this. So let me give a shot and they start writing for the washington examiner. And i was the only person who said he will be the nominee and who would win. I held my guns and i remember this one in idaho said why do you hate this country so much . That i wrote an article a year ago april 2019 of the rise of national populism. So i noticed what was happening around the world and said this isnt just here and everything you are told is alive. Was just frozen into one thing. So i wrote the article. Education, corruption. So i dont have a College Education that we made it as simple as possible. [laughter] this is not a book, you dont have to go to harvard. The main point is we break into a conversation the First National populist leader elected almost 20 years before donald trump. But the reaction to brexit is how does this happen and a big part of our philosophy is the politics. So for instance talk about terrorism in the book the 2001 World Trade Center bombing happening in new york city and washington affected the election in denmark the first thing they did they implemented the muslim act. Everything we see a cyclical around the entire world one of the biggest governments working on immigration is angola. And african country it has gdp of department of Homeland Security but they are highly more effective at controlling immigration because its a matter of political willpower if you want to not can you. So spoke on corruption obviously all national populist movements were overlapping. But a majority of those beliefs overlap. One of the biggest that mirrors so far is culture i almost wish we could have written this book later because the shockwaves that have happened the last few months with the coronavirus every major metropolitan area in the area and i wish we could have and what i think democrats are trying to do. There trying to leverage the gains they have in the cultural war and education and controlling the news media. They think this will be the Inflection Point and their even event. Talking in the book that i think is brilliant is the need for democratic representation. They tell the story that there are enough people of color. So to drill down and ask yourself how does it represent the American People . But 92 percent. The media doesnt represent america. Now you probably have the book next you. That the media is far too liberal. And they have a singular narrative. And 22 percent that means they dont even know. [laughter] every time theres a shooting happening they talk about guns and theyve never shot a gun before. You dont know anything. [laughter] its the world that these people are living in. They dont know. Go to washington and find a churchgoing person who owns a gun in the truck. Its impossible. There is a lot of interplay between government so if we tried to platform the false libertarian type of stuff and then we saw john bolton who left the Trump Administration launching attacks against the president what was the difference between the elites and the press . Going between the press and the government. Heres the thing with media. Most people in media in general are good people the local beat reporter trying to get by just because they love the news. How do you make a lot of money . You become a brand. Anderson cooper is a brand. You know you get from that they are selling you their gimmick just like nike. It is the thing Everybody Knows what you will get. And its worth it to become a brand you can get a Television Show and a contract and a lot of money. [laughter] so if youre going to be a great reporter and it is possible there are a few really good one ones. None with my mind right now. I dont know her politics at all their fewer than anyone else in the problem a social media makes it all the more visible how political they are. He would get punished to say things now you get career advances then jacobs tweeted with cpac and now he got moved to another paper then tweeted right before the election we will bring justice the way it used to be. And trump said at the ballot box. Why . There is nothing wrong. And to apologize they literally try to do a bunch of 16 yearolds with a 32nd video. So what happens to the monetize . It started with a course that they are fringe and then to monetize. And that had been going on for years it was hard for breitbart to make money on their traffic. Now see total monetization over the hedge. What next . The washington examiner, and since they started but they are working their way. And now to even wear a tshirt with a conservative news channel without having your career threatened or threaten the lives of your family. It is completely unhinged. Yes they will go after our pocketbooks whether they try to shame you for supporting them were to make it impossible. That is for all of us and then on top of that the Media Networks make it impossible for us to promote the book we were totally rejected. Zero. There were other keywords but United States the most important statistic in the book is that were having a conversation right now with the racist movement about what is the truth going on in our country certain words like whiteness or racist or privilege or social justice exploded in the most major news outlets we were being inundated with conversation we werent really having reflected in the actual truth going on around the country. I think that is really coming out people who took over the immigration system. I remember in college the first time i said youre joking right . This is never completely widespread but they slowly took over the entire institution and thats what we are seeing. And with the refugees both with the English Channel and with the crops from mexico and even those illegal immigrants. And to talk about immigration. And sanctuary cities. Our neighborhoods have been plagued children caught up and really a lot of people around here because of the drug crisis one of the worst in the country. Can you talk about immigration and crime how they go to gather . One is legal and one is ilLegal Immigration. Talk about crime in the economy and the culture. Those are the three ways to break it down so with the situation in europe so when the United States and the western allies decided to go after qaddafi and libya what happened there was a wave of ilLegal Immigration so the government became the lead party and then that cause the backlash in the United States you have a situation when it comes to climate that we have very little doubt in denmark they will tell you arrivals of illegal immigrant now we say citizen and noncitizen. Not that the underrepresente underrepresented, but they are in many times like drug crimes. And to be a libertarian. So the problem with immigration 1986 with Ronald Reagan and then we were supposed to have an answer but then one Big Government said no. These peoples children will become democrats it will be good with sympathetic stories with those that are being deported so the agriculture fed the monster Barbara Jordan democratic congresswoman a black woman from texas had a commission for the black community and used ilLegal Immigration and the person who stopped it was that republicans Newt Gingrich and paul ryan. Those are the people. And had they done that trump would never be president we were reducing immigration at 2 million per were on per year and the fact of immigration on the Cultural Landscape and crime and Everything Else it was especially bad in those communities in los angeles with ethnic conflict between gangs. Because although we were Getting National news but there are so many stories nobody ever hears from them. Those who were overcoming the football star. And then that day for again charges then called to say that his son was murdered a middleclass middle American Family to say black lives matter and then there was absolute silence and that was just two years ago i wrote about this and they were throwing molotov cocktails into the homes and the bedrooms of her they slept. Know how does any other situation . Despite their ideology because the media is so liberal and white is the only group in this country to have a negative bias toward their own kind. White liberals look at other white people. Its the only group in the country to do it. And to keep the economy chugging along. We have 116,000 workpieces still being issued and 68000 students and then they get a tax break if you hire them afterwards so talking all the time and then the tax incentives for their son and daughters. They want to ask this question but when i first started to describe it for the party looking at what was put out and i said why would the Teachers Union care about legal or ilLegal Immigration . Why . It goes on and on. I think they are most interested in the way they can help their workforce. But that every Major Institution we need to engage in the demographics of the United States of america. And they set out to transform the financial and demographic makeup. Thats what this is. So just one financial interest whether indiana or a tech company in silicon valley. And then as much power or many that return on investment justified for cheap labor. So immigration is really important for economics or reasons. And there is a thinking in washington. Now there are people the Trump Administration. And then we did something. And with the agreements that all the things in the interior. Those are very good. But with Legal Immigration because of financial interest. There is a definition called post democracy and then the people inside the machine do what they want regardless. Certainly it was a post democracy. But i think that trump is as close as we have ever gotten. I know he believes fundamentally that we are supposed to have the executive order this week. I know all the usual suspects are fighting tooth and nail and how they will have the economy crash and ruin the election. They hire all the same people from the institutions but then you just hear that echo over and over again. So we will see but when it comes to immigration what set city in california . Am totally losing my reference. There is a city for all major hiphop artist. What kind of. [laughter] that content is almost 80 percent mexican now. Maxine waters will be the last black person because is not black anymore. That culture is gone forever. When white yuppies move into the neighborhood transportation changes Mass Immigration alters those cities and neighborhoods whether they are black or white and obviously in that culture and if you generalities. And then you cant have a conversation but then to talk about culture and theres a lot of different studies about this. When you have mass diversity what happens is social trust goes back not only do not trust those who are different and you willingness to invest in the institutions goes down. Not all immigrants are bad. Its the fabric of our country. But in 1965 it was highspeed rail. From 1924 through 1955 most immigration practices we assimilated. And mass media and we grew more tolerant of one another that is not easy. Sweden was the same country for a hundred years and cannot make it work and they were the same people. So to say it will work because america is a nation of ideas it took us a long time to get here to be American People. It breaks down the transformation and with that backlash. In the percentage of americans you see and country after country after country it happens all over the place and its really important. Said you cant really describe it of how to make the argument this book is making. Thank you very much. So in answer to our questions everybody else please hand your question forward to me. As President Trump ran in 2016 and he traveled around the country and at that time with a tenpoint he immigration plan. What is your opinion on that . But the thing about President Trump and aggressively pushed out the immigration laws and then pushed out people that could have been an ally to him. And then at that same time and a lot of people with the benefit of sanctuary cities. But then somebody says if you do that new york city is more likely a terrorist target. I understand where they are coming from but thats not the uniform voice inside the administration. It was just one of many people inside the administration. He had done something very well. They are at historic lows that was very crucial there are the things you could do. Not know why it was never signed. I couldnt tell you. President trump really does believe americans are being shafted and they got the raw deal on many issues. I just think when youre constantly being told if you do something it will crash the economy you will lose the reelection and told over and over, i do know for a fact those that are very good and hopefully in a note to be pressured to do the right thing and then to make 100 million. For people like you and then to believe in something. He is a push clinton and bush obama. That is my estimation of what goes on in the white house. But there are more good people around them now than there was a year ago. I do believe a big transformation within the deep state. That people are working on. And then to be exacerbated by the coronavirus. And part of it the recourse of the white house. s synchronicity to speak. And it could be deemed as negative one major change the results from getting back up. When President Trump is at his best coming out with a controversial plan he was driving that narrative. Weather was controversial then that no doubt President Trump was leading that national narrative. And he has completely walked back. We will try to get everyones questions. [laughter] so i dont care thats the charge im getting i dont believe in the antiracist movement. Im just not a racist. Black americans matter as much as white immigrations wages are being depressed by Mass Immigration. Is not a race issue and if it was voters of england would it be getting over Mass Immigration in poland. Or angola. It is a cultural issue. Okay fine. We wont have the conversation. And for social media to be totally abdicated for those principles of classical liberalism we dont need a debate conversation like this. [laughter] so it will be like whatever. [laughter] and then to have extraordinary covid19 are coronavirus. [laughter] and how has populism make succeeded . This is great especially with the Supreme Court being so horrible this week and he has an idea but the gist of it is that and what that original interpretation of the constitution for the common good for everybody. At the common good constitutionalist. That could be a transfer of the future they lost a lot of cases this week that i think are important. I they will have faith in them anymore. But just like john roberts. This reminds me of something as a hostile takeover of any administration in history. So to come out of the Trump Administration with that drive being culture of think tanks to be reflected in this movement. And then with the establishment. But this is important. And its a roadmap. And with the trump person on presidency and with the personnel the person and undersecretary and light heiser. And also dhs. From now to beginning to end. And thats why we need to create a National Policy think tank with the heritage foundations of the world. Tell people your twitter handle and also what do you recommend to somebody who wants to know more . My handle is my name. On the back my name is misspelled and i was in charge of checking the proofreading. [laughter] my name is misspelled. [laughter] and with news from around the world so what lessons . May be breitbart all the time im trying to think of other places. I do spend some time reading it a lot. Not bad. But it turned out with those periods but i realized i loved ryans newsletters. And then to get started with that media website. And then watching on television so we have the time. And how basically the number one way to become a journalist is to be wrong. [laughter] so you fail the lightning round. [laughter] so we will wind this up. First of all and then to be charge of the war room in the brexit debate. It took a while to write tha that. And im sure all the practices and up to this point. [laughter] i havent spoken to her in a long time. Is that i was ready to drop out. But then the one teacher in my life. And i wouldnt have done as well if i had her as a teacher. Thank you to everyone who is watching on cspan book tv. Now we will tak
