Ladies and gentlemen, president of ukraine Volodymyr Zelenksyy and first lady of ukraine olena zelenskyy. [applause] [applause] we have to start. Please. Thank you. I have never made such addresses before, but never before has our country had such reasons to be grateful. There were different times in long history of the ukrainian people. Ukrainians did not stop fighting for freedom. This is in the character of men and women equally and now im not afraid that ukrainian freedom will fall. In general, freedom will never fall again. Be sure of that because it can be confidence in america. [applause] this morning after arriving in new york my team and i immediately, immediately went to the Staten Island to the hospital with our guys, our heroes who are seriously wounded in battles are recovering, soldiers, sailors, sergeants, ordinary guys. Some of them are now learning to walk again. They get use to procedures but they are the ones who would not disagree to their occupation. Guys with brave spirit and im proud of our soldiers, each of them. [applause] thank you. Thank you very much. Each of them and what i noticed during that meeting of Staten Island university hospital, in their eyes i noticed that the people that work there in the hospital and our guys to normal life, americans, americans and they are also proud of ukrainian warriors. Never before, never before have americans so proud of power and sense of ukrainians. Thank you so much. [applause] its a big privilege to be here and thank you. Your friends, the americans and on the documents i saw here today, thank you, today at the thenational archives from the university to Abraham Lincoln to general grant. Inspiring document absolutely. Hold on with a grip and chalk as much as possible. Lincoln reflect the courage and face that helped america. Such wars reflect exactly how ukrainians fight. In our victorious battles for ukraine and karkhive and no matter the challenges in our battle for every everyone of ukrainian land, every day of this war ukrainian soldiers hold on with a grip of bulldog. They chew and chalk the russian occupiers as much as possible. Never before had the russians dictatorship met such strong resistance and never again will russia manage to destroy any other nation. [applause] putins list was long just recently after ukraine would fall it would be for under influence but american and Ukrainian Security and Global Protection of freedom is working 100 every cent. [applause] putins list of goals instead of dictating war to america, europe and the whole free world putin is forced to humiliate himself by personally entertaining a delegation from pyongyang and trying to find favor with tehran. This is his clear weakness. Yes, its true. Ukraine pays the highest price for defending freedom and global security. Every day, every night, our soldiers, our soldiers sacrifice their lives holding dear grounds on the trenches, on the front lines. They lose their comrades in battles, they lose limbs tripping russian mines every day, every night. Russia continues its terror with missiles and iranian drones but every dayay and every night our unity stays strong. You support us and we know we shall not fall and we see how our freedom keeps the bulldog and we are confident that other nations will have not to throw into this battle because ukraine is capable of ending war with a victory that will a become our common victory. It is not the evil empire, not, but the lack of punty that can bring freedom to its knees and we will do everything to ensure that the unity of ukraine, the United States, the entire free world becomes stronger than ever before and that all people, women and men, adults and children, every, every family, peoples desire to live and not artillery or missiles would undermine. Please. [applause] over the past year and a half, weve all experienced many important things and indeed, many things for the first time. I personally made my First Official visit to the United States a year ago and i spoke to the congress. At that time my husband could not leave ukraine for foreign visit while the fate of ukraine was not yet to be decided. Never before has the first lady from another country address the congress and never before had asked for weapons to defend her country. But even if we do something for the first time, something extraordinary and it is for t te sake of salvation, delivers response. I saw the tears of congressmen, this proved better than words that we value lives equally. Itve is equally important for us that life wins. [applause] the stories of ukrainian children killed with Russian Missile which is we told congress about are not out there somewhere, they are here. Before the world felt so strongly that world is small and trouble of sound is the trouble of all. Violation of rights in one end of the world is violation of the rights of all. With your support, with weapons such as antiaircraft defense that gives protection to our people, adult and children, such our path in ukraine and thousands of lives have now been saved. This is so important when Congress Hears when america hears. I came back with the feeling that wee understand each other. [applause] today there are different people here, soldiers, businessmen, adult, children, ukrainians, americans. There isnt a single soul here today who would not hear what happens to freedom and theres not a soul in ukraine that does not feel gratitude to you, america, to you the people who help us not because because you have to but because your heart cannot let you do otherwise. [applause] thank you. That is is humanity. This is what makes us ukraine. Thats what makes you america. [applause] today we are here today with olena to express gratitude to all of you, to the americans and people who have done and are doing extraordinary things, absolutely, at the call of their heart. American hearts just like the hearts of ukrainian people and all the all the most important historical achievements of nations are reflection of whether people are being capable of being extraordinary for the sake of life, for the sake of freedom. Never before in Human History has this been more vital than it is now. [applause] i want, i want you all to know that america has saved millions of ukrainian lives, men, children, adults in cities, villages, millions of ukrainian iochildren with their mothers, manned on the front lines now here their children waiting for them in wheelchairs. It is possible, it is possible because most of ukraine is free and we must and we must free all of our land, our people and i thank every american, everybody in the world who is helping for every life saved in ukraine. [applause] we say that the defense conducted by ukraine is a protection of values, such as the right to life and personality. This is not only physical things but also intangible value. The defenders of ukraine are very different view of different views, beliefs are not religious at all but they feel like they are fighting against the worst that might be born within a human. A conscious effort to kill, destroy, grab and slave therefore it is spiritual battle. To everyone who fights together with us in spiritual dimension and dimension of values.
