Later, the restrictions were relaxed Daily Delhi-Kolkata direct flights allowed instead of 3 days a week  |  Photo Credit: BCCL New Delhi: After limiting the Kolkata-Delhi flights to three days a week owing to the surge in novel coronavirus cases, the West Bengal government on Monday announced that flight services between the two cities will be operational daily with immediate effect. "Daily direct flights in Kolkata-Delhi sector allowed with immediate effect," a statement issued by the state Information and Cultural Department said. Currently, Kolkata-New Delhi flights are available thrice a week -- Monday, Wednesday and Friday, airport officials said.
