Dartmouth, UNH leaders defend police response to encampments

Leaders at both Dartmouth and UNH invoked such “time, place, and manner” restrictions to justify their recent actions. The state’s Senate approved a bill Thursday morning to protect freedom of speech and protest at public institutions of higher learning.
