View Comments The Blackfeet Community College on Saturday will unveil its improved, scalable portal and database for missing and murdered Indigenous people at an event at the University of Montana from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., according to a news release. Blackfeet Community College in 2020 received a $25,000 Department of Justice grant made possible through the Looping in Native Communities Act, for the creation of the database and portal. AT&T provided a full $25,000 match to support the project. The database, which is accessible at www.mmipmt.com, is intended to provide families with a safe, judgment-free reporting system that compiles information and communicates with law enforcement.
