HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - Students at Decatur City Schools returned to class today following the holiday break, but virtually.
This decision comes due to the rising COVID case numbers in Morgan County.
Administrators made the decision to return from the break with online classes before Christmas.
They say they expected a spike in cases.
Decatur City Schools Deputy Superintendent Dwight Satterfield says they anticipated people would be in quarantine right now following the holiday season.
