McCarthy has hole-in-one during PGA tour event
Denny McCarthy, formerly of Rockville, had a hole-in-one Friday during the second round of The Players Championship, a PGA event.
McCarthy, a Georgetown Prep graduate now living in Florida, was three strokes behind the lead after the second round, but fell back in the third and fourth rounds, finishing in a tie for 55th place. [PGAtour.com]
