all right, coming ashore, any time now hundreds of thousands of gallons of oil out of the gulf of mexico. president obama plans to visit the region tomorrow to see just how bad it is and how the oil recovery operations are going right now, more than 200,000 feet of protective boons already ring the shoreline and more are on the way, states of emergency are in effect from louisiana all the way to florida. and b.p. which owns the well out in the gulf says it will be putti putting large amounts of chemicals near the oil and those chemicals are designed to cause the oil to disperse. all anyone can do is watch and wait and hope that the tide turns in their favor. richard lui is in bayou la
