we hope they changed their mind. it's easy for me to smile about this, and make a joke about it. it's not a joking matter, people deserve answers and transparency. tony hayward early on promised transparency, and they have not delivered on that. under no definition of the word transparency can you say they've delivered on it. from not explaining what is going on in a timely manner, to basically underestimating and fibbing on how much oil has actually been leaking out. they're now talking about bringing in supplies, bringing in ships that can handle 50,000 barrels, they've never even admitted there were 25,000 barrels. they've never admitted there were more than 5,000 barrels of oil. that only came after holding on to a 1,000 barrel figure for weeks at a time. up next, bird rescue 911, more birds turn up every day coated with oil. is the whole rescue effort misguided? some say bp was misguided
