we thought that perhaps because there is some dry air intruding across this, that maybe it would weaken a bit. it is still impacting this very fragile coastline. especially highway 12. they say there is an overwash. there will be beach erosion. damaging the coastal areas, as regarding the two feet of water in hatteras village. all right. let's go ahead and show you what's happening as far as the radar imagery is concerned. this spells it all out. you can see the eye offshore with these bands that are moving onshore. not quite to raleigh, north carolina, but all the way up to virginia beach. what do we anticipate will happen? it is moving to the north northeast and will more significantly move off toward the northeast, in the next 24 to 36 hours. that will be good news. especially for new england. it does look like the cape area right now, if it continues on its track, will be affected as we go late in the day friday going into saturday. but should it continue to make
