here's the score from a weekend tracking poll. mitt romney holds on to a solid lead but ron paul has eaten into his margin. paul, huntsman, and gingrich are bunched up in third. the only one not there is perry in south carolina. gingrich says the more people get to know romney, the harder it is to look at alternatives. >> 2002 he said he was a moderate. you look at the contrast and i think that's what the south carolina is going to be all about. the poll said that romney has lost a great deal of momentum in the last four days and i think that's because people look up and instead of being told that it's inevitable, they are saying, who is he? and i don't want to vote for him. i think it's a very wide-open primary. >> remember, our coverage starts tuesday at 7:00 p.m. eastern time. we'll get right back to politics
