what is your reaction to president trump's wiretapping allegation and that the administration, by way of the department of justice, white house, et cetera, they have to provide some evidence to the house intel committee on monday? what's your reaction to all of this and whether that deadline would or could be met? >> my reaction to the tweet was that it was a short-term reaction by donald trump to distract attention from the fact that his attorney general had to recuse himself from the department of justice investigation into russian meddling, and that short-term distraction became a long-term crisis for the president of the united states. i spoke with several of my former colleagues this morning on the house intelligence committee. they have set a deadline. they want to see the evidence tomorrow. my suspicion is that there will be no evidence. the next step is on march 20th when the house intelligence committee invites director comey in and clapper.
