assassinations. does that fall inside or outside the executive order? >> well outside, gregg. that executive order banned targeted assassinations. do it not include enemies, war time enemies of the united states. if it did we wouldn't be able to attack anyone that attacks our country. >> gregg: the aclu has filed a freedom of information act they want the president to lift the veil of the secrecy. they are implying that it violates international law. when somebody attacks you and launches a war against you you are allowed to return fire. does this violate any provision of international law? >> well it certainly doesn't by my view. i can understand where the aclu is coming from, from requesting transparency to determine whether or not there are, indeed any aggressive or excessive use
