need to pay my respects and mourn for this man and his family. ken hunter says the memorial service is scheduled for friday. in washington, a federal hearing under way on the deadly metro train crash. nine people killed and another 80 injured in june when a metro subway train in d.c. smashed into another train on the tracks. the national transportation safety board has yet to release a cause. it's post focused on the crash avoidance systems and holes in oversight. steve has been monitoring the hearing. what have you heard so far? >> well, shep, the safety panel grilling metro executives, trying to find out what caused the crash, why some of the rail cars aren't as safe as they should be and who is supposed to be overseeing operations.
