to a warning. >> i want to you describe for us, especially for people who are just joining us, what happens in the case of a tsunami like this, when a major earthquake has hit, you know, goes in waves. and urch saying they have buoys strategeically positioned to really monitor this. can you explain how this is mon monitored? >> reporter: yeah. you know, they have buoys that are unmanned, obviously, out there, spread and they are always reading data and sending this data back to the warning centers. their job is to review all of this information. and they are able to go in and see if there lab a water rise move past one of these buoys. and they can see how quickly the water rise moves from one buoy to the next buoy. and they can tell how fast the waves are moving.
