that's a great, great number for her among republicans. palin is 58% and has a much larger, 37% unfavorable. if you look at those, is the era of palin over, is it bachmann time? >> way too early to write her off. way too early to write her on iowa numbers. in 2007, barack obama was trading in third position in iowa and that's the best position in any poll anywhere. it's early for people to tune in. you have to look at postlabor day, come november time before the numbers start to gel. i hear more as iowa voters hear more from michelle bachmann, she's not going to wear so well. the unfavorable numbers are going to look up. a gaffe a day is not exactly making you closer to the white house. >> i think the headline snub is relevant. if she's not getting that, that's the upside for her. the downside is obvious. without the upside, she's in a little bit of trouble.
