Doctored image does not show Hindu temple in Sri Lanka : vim

An image of a structure atop a tall, slender island has been shared thousands of times in social media posts that falsely claim the site is an ancient Hindu temple in Sri Lanka. But the image has been digitally altered to combine a picture of a temple in India with an image of Ko Tapu island in Thailand.
