Gray is the Dodgers’ top pitching prospect, a consensus top-70 prospect in MLB before the season, and was ranked 54th overall in Baseball America’s midseason update. The 23-year-old right-hander had a 2.87 ERA in four games with Triple-A — a season interrupted for two months by a right shoulder impingement — with 22 strikeouts against only two walks in 15⅔ innings. Gray will wear number 41 with the Dodgers. Burns is currently on the injured list with Triple-A Oklahoma City. The 30-year-old utility man was 3-for-11 with three walks in 13 games with the Dodgers, making it back to the majors for the first time in five years. Burns got his first major league hit in his first game with Los Angeles, on June 12.
