To make room on the active roster, outfielder Zach Reks was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City. Reks appeared in two games in two days in his second major league stint, this season, scoring a pair of runs while going 0-for-2. The 27-year-old Reks is hitting .325/.419/.581 with 17 doubles and eight home runs in 42 games in Triple-A this season. In three major league games in two stints with the Dodgers, Reks is 0-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts.
