Dodson schools sees COVID outbreak as vaccine rollout is underway

COVID-19 vaccine slated for veterans on the Hi-Line is unloaded from shipment early Thursday morning at the Hill County/Havre Airport. A vaccination clinic was slated for veterans today at Merril Lundman Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic in Havre Holiday Village Mall and another clinic for people ages 70 and older was set up in the former Famous Footwear location in the mall.
In the midst of COVID-19 vaccine being distributed for Phase 1B of the state rollout and local reservations also moving forward with vaccinations, a local school has had to shut down due to an outbreak of the disease.
