Executive Director Don Habegar talked about an update from Grand Portage Resources of Vancouver, British Columbia on the Herbert Gold prospect in Juneau. He said the company earlier this month announced that they believe that they found sufficient quantities of ore to continue its prospecting operation. "We as an organization certainly hope they're successful in their prospect and from that point we think they add a new dynamic to our economic development here," Habegar said.
