Driver accused in wrong-way crash faces felony DUI charges December 21, 2020 GMT BRATTLEBORO, Vt. (AP) — A Massachusetts man accused of driving the wrong way on Interstate 91 and causing a head-on crash that injured five people is now facing four felony drunken driving charges. Bernard J. McDonald, 65, of Westborough, Massachusetts, was expected be released from Brattleboro Memorial Hospital on Monday and arraigned later in the day, Windham County Deputy State’s Attorney Steven Brown told the Brattleboro Reformer. McDonald had been arraigned on 15 charges last week. His lawyer pleaded not guilty on his behalf. ADVERTISEMENT He’s now facing two counts of driving under the influence with serious injury resulting and two counts of driving under the influence with his alcohol blood count above the legal limit with injury resulting. His lawyer declined to comment on the charges.
