Durst adds metallic effects through Color-Logic partnership Simon Nias Wednesday, April 16, 2014 Durst has added metallic effects to its Tau 330 label press and is in the process of doing the same for its Omega II wide-format printer, thanks to a partnership with Color-Logic. This means users of Durst's Tau 330 will now be able to print metallic effects with Durst's white ink plus CMYK on a foil substrate using Color-Logic's process metallic colour system. Durst Labels & Package Printing segment manager Helmuth Munter said: "Our partnership with Color-Logic ensures that Durst customers using the Tau 330 label press can successfully implement the latest in metallic label technology.
