Durst adds metallic effects through Color-Logic partnership

Durst has added metallic effects to its Tau 330 label press and is in the process of doing the same for its Omega II wide-format printer, thanks to a partnership with Color-Logic.
This means users of Durst s Tau 330 will now be able to print metallic effects with Durst s white ink plus CMYK on a foil substrate using Color-Logic s process metallic colour system.
Durst Labels & Package Printing segment manager Helmuth Munter said: Our partnership with Color-Logic ensures that Durst customers using the Tau 330 label press can successfully implement the latest in metallic label technology. ....
