View Comments Firefighters recovered a body from Eagle Creek Reservoir Friday not far from where a man was thrown from a paddle boat during a storm on Wednesday. Authorities were yet sure if the body is that of a man rescue crews have been searching reported missing after falling in the creek. Divers and boat crews have been searching the creek during daylight hours since the man disappeared Wednesday afternoon. Pike Township firefighters were on a boat and found the body about 6:15 a.m. Friday, said Capt. Jet Quillen, a spokesman for the Indiana Conservation Officers. The body has not been positively identified and was taken to the Marion County coroner's office, Quillen said.
