The jersey looked different this time than it has in past years. For starters, it was red, symbolizing it was a quarterback. The other difference was that the player was not DeSean Jackson. Instead, undrafted free agent Jamie Newman was present, ready to work with the receivers in attendance. Newman was one of seven undrafted free agents the Eagles signed before the start of the team’s rookie minicamp.
