I'll nail my colours to the mast - I think Spielman/Zimmer combination has run its course. Spielman has usually drafted well and made some good Free Agent signings and Zimmer has coached many good games, but both have reached the ceiling of their abilities and will not be able to get the Vikings over that final hurdle. We could continue to 'rearrange the chairs on the Titanic' but I think that regression may be what we have to look forward to. All teams suffer injuries and we have been unfortunate, but simply the Vikings have failed to step up in too many games.
