Punch Newspapers Sections Raphael Ede, Enugu The people of Ajuona Obukpa Autonomous Community in the Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State have sued the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, seeking N100m damages for alleged degradation of their environment. The community, in suit No N/86/2020 before an Nsukka Division of the Enugu State High Court, is also seeking a perpetual injunction restraining the university from continuing the construction of its 11,900-room hostel,which was causing the problem . The suit filed by one Nnaemeka Aleke for himself and on behalf of the Ajuona Obukpa Autonomous Community has the UNN and Viagem Property and Investment Limited as defendants.
