Dr. Mary Jo Trepka is an infectious disease epidemiologist and chair of epidemiology at FIU’s Robert Stempel College of Public Health and Social Work. Since the start of the pandemic, Trepka has worked to help control COVID-19 and promote the importance of vaccinations in Miami-Dade County. Trepka answered questions about the current state of the pandemic and what we can do to keep one another healthy and safe as we head into the summer.
