Ex-light rail consultant questions mass transit push : vimar

OPINION
I would like to compliment the Noosa Council, which unlike the egotistical Sunshine Coast Council, is not fixated on destroying our Sunshine Coast's cherished lifestyle by competing with the Gold Coast, using a proposed outdated light rail transport systems idea to justify its high-rise infill agenda to raise revenue.
Like most Sunshine Coast residents, we elected to settle here for the wonderful lifestyle it has to offer which now is under constant threat by our (public servant) Mayor and his like-minded public servant cohorts.
Firstly, I am not against light rail and I am not against mass transit as we already have a mass transit system … called buses.
