Kylee McLaughlin says she was dropped from the team over her conservative views
A former Oklahoma University volleyball player is suing her coaches and the college after she was dropped from the team because of her conservative political views.
Kylee McLaughlin filed the lawsuit after she alleged that she was stigmatized as a racist and eventually forbidden from the rest of the team due to her views not aligning with the far-left agenda of the university.
According to The Oklahoman, McLaughlin is suing volleyball coach Lindsey Gray-Walton, as well as assistant coach Kyle Walton.
She’s expected to sue for a minimum of $75,000 for each of the five complaints, one of which is an infringement on her First Amendment rights, per the report.
