District officials determined the shift is necessary due to the large number of students and staff who have been placed in quarantine, and staffing shortages. Since the start of school, there have been 38 students and 30 staff members who have tested positive at F-M, according to a state covid school report card. In the past 14 days, 13 students and five tested positive, the state said.
