Per Myles Simmons of Pro Football Talk, Fangio spoke with reporters Friday about the battling signal-callers but didn't offer much insight. "They’ve been pretty consistent, both of them," Fangio said of Lock and Bridgewater. "I see no separation, if that’s what you’re asking." If those words look familiar to Denver fans or others following the situation, that's likely because Fangio said in early June that it was "too early to come to any conclusions one way or the other" about the quarterbacks. He's also explained the contest will "be a 50-50 proposition," and NFL Network's James Palmer reported last week Fangio may not make a final decision until after Denver plays all three of its August preseason games.
