Saturday, April 10, 2021 9:23 pm Faye Barrett passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021, surrounded by her loving husband of 44 years and children. She had been in the care of a local long-term health care facility since surviving one heart attack and two strokes. She was born on August 4, 1944, to Ralph and Sybil White of Old Fort, and after graduating froom high school, she worked at Mallory Battery (Duracell) for over 30 years, retiring before she was 50. She enjoyed, most of all, her time on the beaches of Florida relaxing, reading her books, taking early morning walks and listening to the waves crash on the beach. Her other hobbies included planting flowers and taking pictures of them; cooking (oh my, that chocolate pudding); and reading anything with words.
