Lou President Trump also slammed the New York Times 1619 project which is a platform that some schools, believe it or not, have adopted in their curricula. It is a false rewrite of history. It seeks to redefine the United States, describing this country founded on oppression rather than on freedom and liberty. President trump saws those kinds says those kinds of toxic, false teachings are similar to the very propaganda put out by this nations enemies. This project rewrites American History to teach our children that we were founded on the principle of oppression, not freedom. Nothing could be further from the truth. Americas founding set in motion the unstoppable chain of events that abolished slavery, secured civil rights, defeated communism and fascism and built the most fair, equal and prosperous nation in human history. The narratives about america being pushed by the far left and being chanted in the streets bear a strike thing resemblance to the antiamerican propaganda of our adversaries, because both groups want to see america weakened, derided and totally diminished. This commission is called the 1776 commission, and it will promote the, the president says, patriot you can education in american schools, colleges and universities. President trump also announced he will place the statue of delaware founding father Caesar Rodney in his proposed garden of american heroes. Rodney cast what was the deciding vote for the american independence declaration. His statue in wilmington, delaware, ordered removed and taken down by radical dem politicians in june. President trump also blasted the left for its refusal to condemn or to take action against the violent anarchy carried out by marxist groups including black lives matter and antifa. On capitol hill today, fbi director Christopher Wray made a number of incredible remarks. Wray warned congress of the radical violence of antifa, but then went on and seemed to be trying to separate himself from both reality and President Trump. Wray said, incorrectly, that antifa is not an organization, but an ideology. We look at antifa as more of aned ideology or a movement than an organization. To be clear, we do have quite a number of properly predicated domestic terrorism investigations into violent anarchist extremists. Any number of whom selfidentify with the antifa movement. And thats parking lot of this Broader Group of Domestic Violence extremists that im talking about, but its just one part of it. We also have the raciallymotivated, the militia types and others. Lou extraordinary. Wray also made an outrageous claim that White Supremacists make up what he called the largest share of raciallymotivated terrorists in the United States. Wray then was forced to admit to lawmakers that he didnt have any numbers whatsoever to back up that seemingly implausible claim. Well, youve seen a poll by the, that said that 65 of voters arent sharing their polling information. I think thats very true. And i like to be on the ground. I was with the president last week, and ive been with him throughout the country in ohio and in wisconsin, and the energy im seeing is bigger than it was in 2016. We have two million volunteers, lou, between the Trump Campaign and the rnc, two million volunteers knocking doors. The energy is so strong, and i dont think its reflected in the polls. But the polls we are seeing are seeing the president getting closer and closer in every single state and taking a lead in most of these battleground states. Internally, we see them doing much better than the public polls, and the energy on the ground shows that. Its really interesting when you get out there, you go how in the world can joe biden even be competitive with this type of energy for donald trump.
