SAN DIEGO — A homicide investigation was underway Sunday after a woman was found shot to death in a car at Emerald Hills Park, San Diego police said. Someone asked San Diego Fire-Rescue Department personnel who were at the park to check on the woman in the car just before 10:30 a.m. The silver Chevrolet Monte Carlo was parked on Bethune Court at the entrance to the park, off Kelton Road, police said. When the fire personnel approached the car, they noticed bullet holes in the windshield, police Lt. Andra Brown said. “There were visual signs the female was obviously deceased,” so the fire personnel called police, Brown said.
