Field Service Manager - East Harlem Posted by Background: Based in East Harlem and Washington Heights, two long-standing and well-regarded harm reduction organizations in New York City are seeking a Field Service Manager for the East Harlem area. The non-profits, in the process of completing a merger, are innovative organizations serving low-income people who use drugs and other marginalized individuals. The wide range of mobile and center-based services are delivered by upwards of 80 staff and peer workers, and include syringe access, overdose prevention, public health, care coordination, medical care, holistic health services, peer education, and advocacy services. Job Summary NYHRE is seeking a committed, compassionate, and driven individual for a mid-level leadership role with our agency. The Field Services Manager will supervise the Outreach and Public Safety Team (OPST) and all NYHRE Waivered Syringe Access sites in the East Harlem and the Bronx. An outward facing position, the Field Services Manager will serve as the primary liaison for communicating and working with community partners/stakeholders in East Harlem primarily, fostering strong partnerships in a solutions-focused and collaborative fashion.
