artisteer/iStock (NEW YORK) — It’s Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, and one way to give back during this celebratory time is by supporting businesses owned by cultures that make up the Asian community. Following many anti-Asian attacks that have taken place this year, now is an optimal opportunity to stand in solidarity and show support. In March, fashion and beauty industry leaders were among other notables who began using their platforms to spread awareness and speak out again anti-Asian racism. The following month, SAG Award nominee Jamie Chung wore a statement-making Edie Parker purse that read “Stop Asian Hate.”
