According to the forestry service, crews are responding to what became a 3-acre brush fire at a private property on Aqua Vista Drive off Palm Creek Drive, and they have contained 95% of the fire as of 3:30 p.m. Bayshore’s chief and forestry service confirmed the fire began as an unauthorized pile burn that spread on the homeowner’s property. He is a new homeowner and did not know he needed to call in the burn, and the spread was unintentional.
