People trying to head south behind the Renaissance on the Ocean condo in Hollywood will be stopped by this fence, as seen on Thursday, May 20, 2021, on the northern end of the property. Another fence was put up on the southern side months ago.
A popular beachfront pathway at the north end of Hollywood was meant for all to use, but it may as well be no man’s land these days.
Tall fences with “danger” and “keep out” signs, installed by the condo that owns the land, make sure of that. The fences went up months ago to keep the public off the pathway, sparking an outcry from dozens of people who once used the sandy public pass-through to head to the Dania Beach Pier and back.
