Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl to publish memoir of 'a life lived loud' Titled The Storyteller, the 52-year-old says it will be "a collection of memories of a life lived loud" and is set to feature stories of his encounters with his former Nirvana bandmate, the late Kurt Cobain, David Bowie and Iggy Pop. The book will also see the Foo Fighters guitarist talk about his upbringing in Washington DC and his hopes of seeing the world when he left home at 18. He will give fans an insight into what it's like playing drums for Tom Petty on Saturday Night Live, swing dancing with AC/DC and performing at the White House.
