Formal assault charge filed against Houston judge accused of

Judge Frank Aguilar, a 66-year-old Democrat, has presided over a state district court in Harris County since 2019. He is accused of assaulting a woman who lives at his Galveston residence by punching her in the face and head and stepping on her neck early Dec. 31.
