Former German Chancellor claims he mediated situation between Ukraine and Russia in 2022

Gerhard Schröder, former German Social Democrat Chancellor, known for his friendship with Russian President Vladimir Putin, has claimed that the US supposedly disrupted "peace talks" between Ukraine and Russia at the beginning of the full-scale invasion and that Kyiv invited him to mediate.
