Four-alarm inferno destroys N.J. apartment complex Updated Apr 08, 2021; A four-alarm fire destroyed a West Windsor apartment building Wednesday afternoon, leaving one firefighter hurt, according to officials. The fire broke out around 3:20 p.m. at the Avalon Princeton Junction complex’s Building 8 on Taylor Court, police said. News helicopter footage from 6abc showed flames shoot through the upper floors of the building in the complex. Firefighters managed to bring the inferno under control as of shortly after 5 p.m., West Windsor Mayor Hemant Marathe said. There were no immediate reports of anyone seriously hurt, though one firefighter suffered a minor injury, he said.
