FOX 35 Storm Alert Day: Risk of more storms, possible tornado increases FOX 35 Storm Team Meteorologist Jayme King has your forecast. Orlando, FL - For the second day in a row, the FOX 35 Storm Team has declared today a FOX 35 Storm Alert Day. Almost the entire viewing area is outlined in a "MARGINAL" risk of strong to locally severe storms on Tuesday. Radar will likely begin to trend active as we head through the morning hours, holding steady for the afternoon as well. Over the next few hours, thunderstorms will develop over the Gulf of Mexico and West Central Florida. The storms will encounter a relatively favorable environment to intensify and enable storm growth. This means the lightning count will increase, the potential for damaging winds will increase, and the possibility of a brief tornado will also rise a bit.
