Picture: FILE The second story on Page 1 is about the news that market vendors selling yaqona may have to fork out $2000 per year in licence fee if a proposed Local Government (Municipal Market) Regulations 2020 comes into effect. Under the proposed regulation, anyone wishing to sell anything apart from fish, poultry and yaqona from a stall inside the market would need to pay $1000 – and those engaged in the same trade outside the market may have to pay up $500 per stall.
