He was the No. 134 selection overall, and second Seminole picked. Robinson is the 14th FSU player selected by the Vikings franchise in the NFL Draft. He joins names like Bill Cappleman (1970), Hassan Jones (1986), Brad Johnson (1992), Corey Fuller (1995), Derrick Alexander (1995), Christian Ponder (2011), Xavier Rhodes (2013), Everett Dawkins (2013) and most recently Dalvin Cook (2017). Janarius Robinson arrived at Florida State as a 4-star and was part of the 2016 class. Robinson showed flashes during his career at Florida State and impressed scouts with his prototypical defensive end frame. The Panama City product showed out at the Senior Bowl practices and game. His play generated buzz for his potential to be a development edge player in the NFL.
