GCS 2021 highlights importance of coaching 04 Apr 2021 - 9:09 Fatima Al Mohannadi The Peninsula Doha: With the participation of more than 200 participants, Global Coaching Summit (GCS) 2021, the first-of-its-kind in Qatar and the Middle East on coaching awareness and skills, concluded last Wednesday. The summit created an opportunity for scientific discussion between panelists and participants. Experts from various fields discussed many issues such as psychology, group coaching, team performance, culture, and return on investment in minds during the event. The largest participation was from Qatar, Egypt, and the United States of America. Also, the participants represented more than 30 countries around the world. The event was organised by Ghaya Management Training in coordination with Dar Al Sharq as a media partner under the patronage of the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs (MADLSA). During the 11-days event, the summit contributed to raising awareness of coaching and its skills in the Middle East and North Africa region. The summit’s closing programme included sharing recommendations developed by experts and specialists and opened the way for all participants to share their ideas, come out with practical projects to raise awareness of coaching and its importance, and participate in their implementation.
