Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger has ordered full signature audit in Cobb County
Georgia is to conduct a full signature audit of the results in Cobb County and may expand the review statewide, state officials have announced.
On Monday, GA Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger ordered officials to conduct a signature matching audit of absentee ballot envelopes in Cobb County.
The move comes following weeks of pressure from President Donald Trump and his supporters. 
The goal in ordering an audit is to
“make our elections accurate and secure and believed by voters,” Raffensperger, a Republican, said.
The signatures on absentee ballot envelopes will be checked during the audit to ensure they match signature records among registered voters in the county.
