Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White announced on Monday that Usman vs. Covington 2 will headline the promotion’s November pay-per-view (PPV) in New York. Shortly after the announcement of UFC 268’s headliner, Burns (no. 2) took to Twitter and challenged Edwards (no. 3). Burns (20-4) bounced back from a third-round TKO loss to Usman (watch here) in February with a unanimous decision win over Stephen Thompson at UFC 264 on Sat., July 10. Edwards extended his active winning streak to nine with a unanimous decision win over Nate Diaz at UFC 263 (watch here) on Sat., June 12. Both men seek retribution after losing to Usman at points in their respective careers.
